摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bracket which generates high closing strength to fit an arch wire to a bracket slot without increasing danger of spring damage at time of opening. SOLUTION: The bracket for dentistry orthodontic therapy contains a closing spring which is fixed and engaged to the bracket and coats an arch wire slot formed into the bracket to store the arch wire at the closed position. At the end part of the closing spring for coating the slot is formed a tongue part in the center, and bent at right angle to a base plate of the bracket. The spring has an end part which is held by a projection formed in the bracket structure to fix the spring at the closed position. And the spring has a size for fixing the arch wire, which is inserted into the slot, by the closing spring with the strength from above and the side, and receives pressurization. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bracket for dental correction that can reduce the replacement frequency of an archwire. SOLUTION: A bracket for dental correction is provided with a base plate 1 to be fitted to a crown of tooth, and structure fixed to the upper side of the base plate 1, rising from the base plate. This structure is provided with at least one slot opened toward the top part of the bracket and specified by a bottom wall and sidewalls 6, 7 so as to receive an archwire. A compression spring 11 generating force by the archwire inserted in the slot 5 is supported by the bracket, and this force acts toward one sidewall restricting the slot 5.
