摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine for measuring the inner diameter and outer diameter of a bottle opening section and capable of inspecting the bottles of all sizes at the rate of 400 bottles per min. SOLUTION: This measuring mechanism 8 is provided with a drive tube 10 moved in the vertical direction so that a plug gauge 12 is moved downward from above into a finish portion (opening section 14 of a bottle 16) and a ring gauge 17 is moved downward to receive the top section 18 of the bottle 16. A plug gauge spring 20 is arranged between an upper collar 24 fixed to a plug gauge tube 22 and a lower collar 26 fixed to the ID of a ring gauge tube 30 in the compressed state around the plug gauge tube 22, and the plug gauge 12 is normally maintained at the completely extended state. A measuring machine is provided with a means moving the drive tube 10 between the completely retreated position and the completely advanced position and a means preventing the plug gauge tube 22 and the ring gauge tube 30 from being relatively moved when the drive tube 10 is moved to the selected position.

摘要： PURPOSE: To effectively and positively convey tapered containers by mounting an upper idler roller support means on a frame in an optional position within a specified range laterally extending relative to a straight path. CONSTITUTION: Each belt 16 is supported by a pair of front idler rollers 32, drive rollers 34 and adjustable rear idler rollers 36. The front idler rollers 32 are mounted on an upper support plate 46 fixed to an upright post 48 by bolts 50 piercing elongated slots 52. When these bolts 50 are loosened, the upper support plate 46 is laterally displaced to advance and retreat relative to a conveyor path with respect to a pair of idler rollers 36 below. Furthermore, a sliding member 42 is mounted to a pair of quick locks extending between a front wall and a rear wall of a frame 62, so that each belt 16 is laterally displaced relative to the conveyor path to easily transport tapered containers.
