    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for directly producing blister copper from copper concentrate, capable of processing low-grade copper concentrate containing high Fe and low Cu and reducing an oxygen demand, a heat load, and the amount of slag in a reaction furnace.SOLUTION: A method includes: (a) adding copper concentrate, copper matte, a slagging material, oxygen-enriched air, and an endothermic material into an upper segment 11 of a reaction furnace 1; (b) adding a reducing agent into a lower segment 13 of the reaction furnace; (c) directing a produced hot coke 21 and liquid slag 22 into an electric furnace 4 and adding copper concentrate into the electric furnace 4 to generate electric furnace slag 41 and copper matte 42; and (d) granulating and finely grinding the copper matte 42 by a mill 5 and re-feeding the ground copper matte 42 into the reaction furnace. The addition of the reducing agent in the lower segment does not increase the heat load of the reaction furnace since the reducing agent does not burn. Peroxide CuO and FeOare reduced by hot coke to improve the direct recovery rate of copper, so that the characteristics of the slag are improved.
