    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyacrylate pressure-sensitive adhesive especially extremely suitable for adhesion of a nonpolar low-energy and/or coarse-surface base substance. SOLUTION: The polyacrylate has a molecular weight distribution with at least two modes. At least two maximum values of a molecular weight distribution curve are present at M 1 and M 2 , with the proviso that M 1 is larger than M 2 , and when the curve is formally examined, two kinds of polymers P 1 and P 2 each having an original molecular weight distribution are present. The polymer P 1 has the maximum molar mass M max (P 1 ), and the polymer P 2 has the maximum molar mass M max (P 2 ) wherein M max (P 1 )>M max (P 2 ). At the time, at least the polymer P 1 is obtained by using as a base a monomer mixture comprising (a) at least one kind of a monomer selected from the group consisting of acrylic esters and methacrylic esters represented by general formula: H 2 C=CR 1 -COOR 2 [wherein, R 1 and R 2 are specified groups], and (b) at least one kind of an olefinically unsaturated monomer having a functional group. The polyacrylate is reactive by a thermal crosslinking reaction of at least one kind of a functional group of the olefinically unsaturated monomer, and at least the polymer P 1 has the copolymerized monomer of the olefinically unsaturated monomer having the group reactive by the thermal crosslinking reaction, and can carry out the crosslinking reaction under the influence of thermal energy optionally by the addition of a catalyst.
