    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal crimping device in which an electric wire crimping part superior in mechanical performance and electric performance with stabilized shape of the electric wire crimping part is obtained when a terminal is crimped to an ultra-fine electric wire. SOLUTION: The terminal crimping device is provided with an anvil which supports a terminal fitting having a curved base plate part on which an electric wire is mounted and a pair of crimping members respectively raised at the both side fringes of the base plate part and a crimper 19 which is arranged capable of pressing the crimping members of the terminal fitting between the anvil and has crimping parts 32 of arch shape consisting of two circular arc faces at the opposed portion to the anvil, and presses the crimping members by the anvil and the crimper 19 and crimps the crimping members to the electric wire mounted on the terminal fitting. The shape of the crimper is designed using an index a=c×cosθ which is defined by a length c of the arc of the crimper 19 and an angle θ made by a perpendicular straight line against a tangential line of the arc at the center part of the crimper.
