    • PURPOSE:To obtain a cap, the mechanical strength of which is increased and the external appearance of which is made nice, by a method wherein a cylindrical movable mold for outside wall, on the peripheral surface of which a spiral groove is engraved, is arranged movably in both forward and backward directions with respect to a mold for outside wall, on the inner peripheral surface of which a stepped part is formed. CONSTITUTION:Air-pressure forming operation through the outer periphery of a jig 5, which advances downwards, is applied to a heated synthetic resin sheet 10, which is fixed to the open end of a mold 1 for outside wall, in order to form a bottomed short cylindrical molded part 19. After that, a topped short cylindrical form is made by retreating the jig 5 upwards under the state that the air-pressure forming operation continues to be applied and simultaneously advancing a movable mold 3 upwards to the neighborhood of the opening end of the mold 1. The lower end of the outside wall 11 is kept in a posture abutted against the molding surface of a stepped part 2. In addition, some portion of a bottom wall 12 gouges into a spiral groove 4 on the peripheral surface of the movable mold 3, resulting in forming a spiral bead 14 on an inside wall 13. A double cylindrical formed part 20 is made by screwing out the movable mold 3 and by cutting off the upper end of the outside wall 11 from the remaining part of the synthetic resin sheet 10.

    • PURPOSE:To enable to favorably function the resultant product as a cap by a method wherein a synthetic resin sheet just extrusion-molded is thermoformed as is extrusion-molded. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, a synthetic resin sheet 1 with a thickness of 1.0-3.0mm. is formed by being extruded from and extrusion molding machine. Secondly, the molding portion 1a of the sheet 1 formed in said extrusion molding process A is partitioned by being tightly pinchingly held by a clamp 2 consisting of a cylindrical upper clamp 2a and a lower clamp 2b. Thirdly, a core 3, onto which a mold area is formed by making a spiral groove 3a or an undercut onto the peripheral surface of a cylindrical form body, is insertedly positioned in the clamp 2 in order to form a molded part or a cap S by pressingly bringing the molding portion 1a into close contact onto the mold area of the core 3, which is insertedly positioned in the clamp 2, by means of thermoforming means. Fourthly, the core 3 is released from the cap S, which is formed as is attached to the sheet 1 through the thermal forming, by being drawn out of the cap S. Fifthly, the pinching holding of the sheet 1 with the clamp 2 is released. Finally, the molded cap S is cut off and separated from the sheet in order to obtain the independent molded part.

    • PURPOSE: To manufacture the synthetic resin made simple container at low cost, by a method wherein a cylindrical pipe being shaped by extrusion is cut to form into a cylinder barrel, the bottom end thereof is melted into a plate by pressure- welding, while its top edge is bent or turned outwardly to form a flange.
      CONSTITUTION: The synthetic resin made circular pipe is extruded, out at the predetermined length and shaped into the pipe for barrel forming 6. Said pipe 6 is fitted to the mandrel 7 of the same diameter by using the forcing device 8. The short cylindrical jig 10 has the cylindrical opening 10a of the almost same inner diameter as the outer diameter of the heated madrel and the cylindrical tapering guide part 9 having the tip part of thin wall periphery and the rear part of enlarged diameter. The jig 10 is fitted to the lower end of the madrel and forced into. By this, the end part of the pipe for barrel forming is enlarged and bent or turned outside, then the outside flange 4 is formed. Thereafter, the other end is welded and shaped into the sealing part.
