    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve water-proofing performance of a grommet which covers a connector of a door wire harness by fitting a lip for annular seal protruding forward around the opening of the grommet. SOLUTION: This mounting structure connects the female connector C1 of a vehicle body wire harness W1 with the male connector c2 of a door wire harness W2 through a fitting hole P1 in a vehicle body panel P, whereas a lip 12 for annular seal is formed, which protrudes forward around an opening 9 in a grommet G that covers the connector C2 of the door wire harness W2. The lip 12 is brought into pressure contact with the chamber external surface of the panel P in a connector connected condition, and the stress per unit area for the panel P on one side corresponding to the locking mechanism part of the connector C2 of the door wire harness W2 in the lip 12 and the connector C1 in the vehicle body wire harness W1 is set larger than the other side. It is thus possible to prevent sealing performance on the opposite side of the locking mechanism from being degraded.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm whether a connector is nondefective after a fitting inspection has been finished by a method wherein a display means by which a 'passed' mark indicating that it has passed the fitting inspection, in a state that the connector is fitted completely is put on the front edge of the connector is installed at a detection implement body. SOLUTION: When the mounting and attaching state of a terminal metal fitting at a connector 2a is good in such a way that detection pins 4 are inserted into a terminal housing chamber without any trouble, a fitting part 5 at the connector 2 is caught on a locking pit 6 at a detection implement 1a so as to be locked by the detection implement 1a. In a state that it is confirmed to be good in a fitting inspection by a lock sound generated at this time, a 'passed' mark displaying an inspected nondefective product by using a pen 9 (a display means) is put on the front edge of the connector 2a. Thereby, it is possible to easily confirm that the inspection of the connector 2a is passed as a nondefective product after the inspection has been finished. In addition, when the connector 2a is inserted halfway into the inspection implement 1a so as not to be locked, a gap is generated between it and the front edge of the connector 2a, and the 'passed' mark by the pen 9 is not put on.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the cross wiring of wires in a wire holding case in which oil leakage through the inside of the wire is avoided. SOLUTION: A case main part 2 in which radial partition walls 8 are provided and a holder 4 which has a wire insertion hole 18 in a bottom wall 26 facing the partition plates 8 and which is mated with the case main part 2 are provided. A plurality of wire interfering protrusions 27 are provided on the outer surface side of the bottom wall 26 of the holder 4 which faces the partition wall side and trench parts 30 through which the front edges 8a of the partition walls 8 are inserted between the wire interfering protrusions 27. The wire interfering protrusions 27 are provided on the outer circumference of the wire insertion hole 18. The wire interfering protrusions 27 are notched 29 on both the sides of the wire insertion hole 18 and the trench parts 30 are linked with the wire insertion hole 18.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent an obstacle caused by incomplete fitting of housings to each other by arranging a detecting part having an inclined surface forming an acute angle with the extending direction in a free end part of a lock arm, and arranging a detecting projection coming into contact with this on a flexible locking piece. CONSTITUTION:A lock guaranteeing member M1 is pushed in a male housing M, and is temporarily engaged by a flexible locking piece 9 and an engaging projection 11. When it is fitted to a female housing F in this condition, a free end 9a of the locking piece 9 is raised by an engagement releasing driving lever 3, and is removed from the projection 11. At this time, the member M1 backward inclines, and when it is further push-advanced, a top part of a detecting projection 10 of the locking piece 9 is guided by an under surface of a detecting part 5c of a lock arm 5, and an engaging recessed part 9c and the projection 11 are engaged with each other, and regular engagement is guaranteed. When the detecting projection 10 of the locking piece 9 comes into contact with the detecting part 5c since the member M1 is excessively pressed in a half fitting condition of the mutual housings F and M, force in the direction for lowering the lock arm 5 is applied by operation of an inclined surface 6. Thereby, entrance of the member M1 by an error is checked.
