Also, a lance 20 at a connector housing side for catching the terminal is formed in a wide plate-like shape in accordance with the width of the box part of the terminal, and three beaks 22 and 23 each engaging with the catch holes at three portions of the terminal are protrusively formed on a wide surface of the plate-shaped lance. The lance is provided with a slit 24 for enhancing elasticity and a connection part 25 for connecting the three beaks.
