    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate variety of musical sounds with long sustain.SOLUTION: A base plate 10 is vibrated by movement of a tip part 11a of a nose part 11 of the base plate 10 that is accompanied by contact with a texture plate. A vibration valve 20 is, in a cantilevered state, extended rearward from a base part 23 as which a connection with a rearward of the nose part 11 is regarded. Stays 14 are connected to both the right side and the left side parts of a rear half part of a center part 12, are bent and formed at an almost right angle, and rise upward. The base plate 10 is supported by the both stays 14. The base plate 10 has an extension part 13 extending, in a cantilevered state, more rearward than the stays 14. A piezoelectric vibration plate 17 is arranged on a top surface of the extension part 13. The piezoelectric vibration plate 17 outputs electric signals for generating musical sounds corresponding to vibrations of the extension part 13.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a variety of musical sounds by acquiring a signal for generating musical sounds from composite vibrations.SOLUTION: In a first hitting piece 100A, a communication pathway penetrating the inside and the outside of a main body 10 is formed of a mouth cavity 13 of the main body 10, an inner central hole 14, inner opening holes 16A-16D, an intermediate hole 15, a connecting hole 31 of a sensor holder 30, and an outer central hole 21 of a cover 20. A piezoelectric vibration plate 40 is fixedly supported to projections 32A-32D of the sensor holder 30 and interposed between the first and second communication pathways R1 and R2. When the facing surfaces of both hitting pieces are collided with each other, the mechanical vibration of the hitting pieces 100A is transmitted to the piezoelectric vibration plate 40 through the main body 10 and the projections and, in parallel thereto, air vibration in the mouth cavity 13 is transmitted to the piezoelectric vibration plate 40 through the second communication pathway R2. The piezoelectric element 42 of the piezoelectric vibration plate 40 detects composite vibrations of machine and air to output an electric signal for generating the musical sound.

    • PURPOSE:To reflect the feeling of a player to a musical sound to allow various musical sound controls, compared with a conventional operation only by the fingers by providing such a constitution that a plurality of musical sound control signals can be outputted by pressing an operating part by the palm or finger of the player. CONSTITUTION:The operation part 2 of a controller 1 is covered with an elastic film 5, and a player can increase and decrease the volume in a fluid chamber 6 by operating this part by his palm or finger. The fluid in the fluid chamber 6 flows out and/or flows in through a fluid passage 23 by the increase and decrease of the volume. The fluid passage 23 has a pressure sensor 22. When the fluid flows out and/or flows in, a positive/negative pressure is caused on the pressure sensor 22, and this is detected by the pressure sensor 22. The output of the pressure sensor 22 is outputted as a musical expression by the palm of the player, and used as a musical sound control signal. Since the fluid chamber 6 is plurally provided, a plurality of outputs sensitive to the inclination of the palm or the movement of the finger are obtained, allowing a delicate musical expression.

The pressure sensitive area of the pressure sensitive sensor 1 is equal or wider than the effective position detecting area of the touch panel 2. In this case, when the desired position on the surface of the touch panel 2 is touched with arbitrary strength by a finger or a manipulator, the touch position information on the plane and pressure information (the information of touch pressure) can be inputted at the same time.

CONSTITUTION:When a performer presses a string 3 against a sound pitch designating part 1, a position discriminating means 4 decides its constant position and sends out information related to the contact position to a musical sound generating means 6. On the other hand, when the string is picked, a string picking detecting means 5 detects string picking and sends out information related to string picking to the means 6. The means 6 generates the musical sound of a sound pitch corresponding to the contact position as long as the performer does not execute a bend operation. Thereafter, when the performer moves the string in the direction being different from the time of designating a sound pitch in order to give a bend effect, a bend sensor 7 detects it and instructs to vary the pitch of a musical sound to the means 6. On the other hand, the movement in the direction being different from the time of designating a sound pitch is generated in the string at the time of picking the string, as well, but this string movement is detected by an inhibiting means 9 and even if an instruction by a bend giving means 8 is given, the pitch variation of a musical sound is inhibited.
