    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device which measures the displacement or the irregularity of an object surface with high accuracy. SOLUTION: A reflection light from the measuring plane X of the object is divided into two light fluxes by a half mirror BS2, the light quantity is measured with a photodiode PD1 via a pinhole A1 and the photodiode PD2 via the pinhole A2. The pinhole A1 is set at a position which is located at more remote position than the position of the focal length f1 of an ocular L1 located before the half mirror BS2, and the pinhole A2 is set at the position which is located at closer position than the position of the focal length f1. So, the light receiving quantities S1, S2 of the photodiodes PD1, PD2 are increased and decreased corresponding to the displacement of the measuring plane X, respectively. The displacement of the measuring plane X can be obtained with a high accuracy corresponding to the light receiving quantities S1, S2, by performing the preliminary measurement of the change of the light receiving quantities S1, S2 due to the displacement.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of evaluating quickly and simply with high reliability corrosion resistance of a coating in various environmental conditions, by measuring susceptibility to individual defective damage causing corrosion in a coating material.
      SOLUTION: An ultrasonic wave generated in an ultrasonic wave generation device 1 is amplified by an amplifying horn 2 and transferred to a disk 3. A test solution 5 is stored in a water tank 4 so that an evaluation substrate 7 has a prescribed depth. The disk 3 is arranged in the immersed state into the test solution over the evaluation substrate 7. When ultrasonic vibration is generated in the test solution 5 by the disk 3, cavitation is generated, and a local impact pressure is applied to a coating 8 formed on the evaluation substrate 7. A broken state (the number of defects, a broken area or the like) starting from a defect existing on the coating 8 is measured, and corrosion resistance is evaluated based on measured data.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding material having characteristics where metal and resin are well-balancedly and stably dispersed.
      SOLUTION: A number of particulates formed with metal coating on the surface of thermoplastic resin by metallic plating are bonded with each other and integrally formed, so that metal is formed inside, having a network shape. The sliding material processed in such a way provides abrasive resistance and electric conductivity, in which metal and resin are well-balancedly and stably dispersed on the sliding surface. The electric conductivity is stably exerted especially by being used for a submerged bearing.
