    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding device for forming a cylindrical battery which can improve winding slippage of a separator, cathode and anode when the separator, cathode and anode are stacked and wound up into a concentrically wound shape, and has a simple mechanism.
      SOLUTION: The winding device is provided with a first supply shaft and a second supply shaft on which separator rolls obtained by winding belt-shape separators are installed, a working table on which a separator taken out from the separator roll, a strip-shape cathode and a strip-shape anode are stacked so as to interpose the separator between the cathode and the anode, and a winding-up shaft to wind up the separator, cathode and anode stacked on the working table. The first supply shaft and the second supply shaft each have a structure swingable about a fixed shaft arranged as a fulcrum above the supply shaft. The separator taken out from the separator roll is taken out above the horizontal plane.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid air electrode which has superior discharge capacity when incorporated in a metal air battery, and a metal air battery with the liquid air electrode.SOLUTION: The liquid air electrode contains an electrolytic solution and a conductive material, the electrolytic solution contains metal salt and ion liquid, and the conductive material is dispersed in electrolytic solution. Further, the metal air battery includes at least an air electrode, a negative electrode, and a solid electrolyte interposed between the air electrode and negative electrode. According to discharge curves of embodiments 1-4, in a graph showing voltage (V) on the vertical axis and discharge time (h) on the horizontal axis, metal air batteries of the embodiments 1-4 can control an electrode reaction field and have a longer initial discharge time by adjusting the mixing ratio of the conductive material and electrolyte. Especially, the metal air battery of the embodiment 2 having the conductive material and electrolyte mixed at a mass ratio of 1:20 has an initial discharge time longer than 350 hours.

The apparatus 1 is equipped with: a power supply circuit 9 for applying voltage between the crucible 7 and the seed shaft 5; a measurement circuit 11 for measuring the electric current flowing through the power supply circuit 9; and a constant voltage circuit 9B and a cutoff circuit 9C in the power supply circuit 9. The cutoff circuit 9C cuts the electric current when a measured value of the electric current exceeds a set value, provided that the set value is lower than the electric current that flows when the seed crystal contacts the surface of the melt.
