    • PURPOSE: To provide a resin compsn. having excellent metallic hue, by blending mica powder and a black pigment with a specified vinyl chloride graft copolymer resin.
      CONSTITUTION: A compsn. consists of 0.5W5pts.wt. mica powder, 0.001W0.1pt.wt. black pigment and 100pts.wt. vinyl chloride graft copolymer resin obtd. by graft copolymerizing 95W75wt% vinyl chloride onto 3W25wt% ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer resin having a vinyl acetate content of 10W45wt%. Particularly preferred graft copolymer resin is a powdered resin obtd. by suspension polymn. The mica powder includes particulate natural or artificial mica powder having a particle size of 5W200μ. To obtain fine metallic hue, titanium oxide-coated powder having a particle size of 10W50μ is preferred.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a vinyl chloride resin compsn. having excellent resistance to weather and low-temperature impact, consisting of a vinyl chloride resin and a vinyl chloride graft copolymer resin obtd. by copolymerizing vinyl chloride with an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer resin.
      CONSTITUTION: A resin compsn. consists of 10W40pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin having an average degree of polymn. of 600W1,400 and 90W60pts.wt. vinyl chloride graft copolymer resin obtd. by graft copolymerizing 95W80pts.wt. vinyl chloride onto 5W20pts.wt. ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer resin having a vinyl acetate content of 10W45wt%. Pref. the vinyl acetate content of said copolymer resin is 15W30wt% from the viewpoint of reducing lowering in rigidity. The vinyl chloride resin is one having an average degree of polymn. of 600W1,400 prepd. by suspension polymn., and one having an average degree of polymn. of 700W1,100 is preferred from the viewpoints of flow characteristics and compatibility.
