摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing trouble of a fixing device due to an increase in temperature.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes image forming means, fixing means, temperature control means, and operation control means. The image forming means forms images on sheets with discoloration materials discolored by application of heat at a temperature higher than a specified temperature. The fixing means heats the images at a fixing temperature in a range from a lower limit temperature to an upper limit temperature lower than the specified temperature to fix the images on the sheets. The temperature control means controls the fixing means to be the fixing temperature. The operation control means controls execution of image stabilization processing in a waiting period until which the fixing means reaches the fixing temperature.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device and a density correction method, which reduce users' waiting time by reducing time needed for a density correction process.SOLUTION: An image processing device includes an image forming unit, an image control unit, a sensor and a correcting unit. The image forming unit is for forming images. The image control unit is for controlling the image forming unit so that a toner refreshing process, in which deteriorated toner is output with a high density, is performed and also so that an image of a specific pattern is formed. The sensor measures the density values of images formed by the image forming unit. The correcting unit corrects a toner density of the image forming unit in the case of high density based on values measured by the sensor on the image formed in the toner refreshing process, and corrects a toner density of the image forming unit in the case of, at least, low density based on values measured by the sensor on the formed image of the specific pattern.
