    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device whose security can be easily enhanced.SOLUTION: When power is supplied to a storage part comprising a nonvolatile semiconductor memory, a storage device of an embodiment starts counting of elapsed time. When a command is input from a host device, a calculation part calculates the elapsed time from the previous command input to the current command input on the basis of time information, which indicates the present date and time that are timed by the host device, and a counter value that is obtained by counting before the command input. A time information determination part determines a match between time information, on the basis of a magnitude relation with respect to time between an addition result, which is obtained by adding the calculated elapsed time to time information contained in the previously input command, and the time information contained in the currently input command. When a mismatch is determined, an invalidation part invalidates data stored in the storage part.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the physical protection properties for operation of a plant by providing an access adaptability deciding part to lock a fact itself that an outsider gives an access to a controller via a man-machine interface. CONSTITUTION:An access propriety deciding part 3 supplies a conditional signal for permission of access to a monitor controller, a plant state signal received from a plant and an access permission request signal received from a control part 2. Then the part 3 decides whether an access to the monitor and control equipment is possible or not. If the access is impossible, a request signal given from a man-machine interface part 1 is neglected. So that it is possible to lock a fact itself that an outsider gives an access to the controller via a man- machine interface 11. As a result, the possibility where the outsider gives an access to the controller is reduced and the physical protection properties can be increased for operation of the plant.
