    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing electronic components, which does not cause discoloration due to foreign materials on the surface of a metal sheet, after peeling a resist film, in the method for manufacturing the electronic components by etching the metal sheet, with a photoetching method using the resist film as a mask. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method is characterized by repeatedly using a peeling liquid (7) several times, and controlling a quantity of all Cr in the peeling liquid (7) to be 50 mg/l or less, in the method for manufacturing the electronic components comprising steps of; applying photopolymer on at least one side of a metal sheet (1), and forming the photopolymer layer (2a, 2b); forming a resist film (3a, 3b) having several openings through which the surface of the metal sheet is exposed, according to a predetermined pattern, on at least one side of the metal sheet (1), by subjecting the photopolymer layer (2a, 2b) to a pattern exposure/development process; etching the metal sheet (1) by using the resist film (3a, 3b) as the mask; and peeling the resist film (3a, 3b) by contacting the peeling liquid (7).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high grade shadow mask in which desired fine through holes are formed. SOLUTION: This process includes the following steps: a step of forming, by coating, photoresist layers 2, 2' on both surfaces of an 'Invar(R)' material 1, respectively; a first etching step where a plurality of fine recessed holes 5 are formed on the surface of the 'Invar(R)' material by applying etching to bare parts uncoated with the photoresist layers 2, 2' on the surface of the 'Invar(R)' material; a coating step where the surface on which the fine recessed holes are formed is coated with an etching-resistant layer 6; and a second etching step where etching is applied from the rear side uncoated with the etching- resistant layer to form a plurality of fine through holes communicating with the plurality of fine recessed holes on the surface side, respectively. In the course between the step of forming the photoresist layers by coating and the first etching step, a polymer film 10 having a film width narrower than the width of the 'Invar(R)' material 1 and having a prescribed adhesion is allowed to adhere to the photoresist layer on the rear side of the 'Invar(R)' material.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a cathode-ray tube capable of stably forming a conductive film satisfactorily functioning as an AEF preventing film on the outer surface of the front panel of a faceplate and capable of forming the high-quality conductive film having no drying irregularity. SOLUTION: A solution containing conductive fine grains is applied and dried to the surface of the front panel of a faceplate to form an undercoating layer, a finish coating layer mainly made of SiO2 is formed on the undercoating layer, then the undercoating layer and the finish coating layer are baked to manufacture a cathode-ray tube. The alcohol concentration of the undercoating layer in the atmosphere at least during the drying process is controlled. When the alcohol concentration under the saturated vapor pressure in the atmosphere at 25 deg.C is set to 0.1×10 g/cm or below, for example, a conductive film satisfactorily functioning as an AEF preventing film can be formed, and the high- quality conductive film having no drying irregularity can be obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a color picture tube of high resolution and high brightness and to prevent yellow directional color shifting at the peak of brightness by using ZnS:Ag, Al for a blue luminous phosphor and forming an electron gun into the one of a long focal point lens. CONSTITUTION:A blue luminous phosphor layer composing a fluorescent screen 13 is made of Ag and Al as active agents and a ZnS:AgAl phosphor containing Ag of 0.055 wt% to 0.085 wt% in a mother material. An electron gun 17 is formed in such structure that a prescribed voltage is applied to a required electrode through a resistor 21. Hence, when a spot diameter of electron beams incident to a fluorescent screen is made small by a long focal point lens system, resolution can be upgraded. when properties of the blue luminous phosphor are utilized to combine this tube with the electron gun, high brightness can be obtained and color shifting can be prevented from occurring at the peak of white brightness.

    • PURPOSE:To aim at improvement in a residual emission rate, by installing a process which applies suspension inclusive of a metallic alkoxide compound on the surface of a shadow, mask, and also another process which performs heat treatment for the shadow mask. CONSTITUTION:Suspension of an alkoxide compound consisting of silicon containing zircon and zirconia is applied to one side of main surfaces having a through hole 7a of a shadow mask 7, for example, to a main surface coming to a concave surface at the side of an electron gun 6 when being set up oppositely proximate to a screen 4, and it is heated in an atmosphere of more than 70 deg.C in temperature whereby a layer 13 is formed up. The alkoxide compound of silicon and zirconia applied to the shadow mask 12 caused hydrolysis due to moisture or the like in the atmosphere in an ambience of more than 70 deg.C in temperature, and in consequence, there is produced a film due to a condensation polymerization reaction between alkoxide themselves, thereby forming a mixture layer of amorphous silicon containing zircon, a metallic oxide of zirconia and metal hydroxide.

    • PURPOSE:To achieve improved adhesion so as to increase the emission life characteristic of a cathode-ray tube by using a material containing both a heat-ray-absorbing matter and organic ammonium to form a heat-ray-absorbing layer on the surface of a metal back layer located on a phosphor layer. CONSTITUTION:First, the inner surface of a panel 1 is coated with a phosphor layer 2 which consists of red, green and blue phosphor stripes 21 and black stripes 22 located between the stripes 21. Next, the surface of the phosphor layer 2 is coated with a metal back layer 31 and a heat-ray-absorbing layer 32 in that order, thereby making a color cathode-ray tube. The heat-ray- absorbing layer 32 is formed on the metal back layer 31 by heating the layer 31 and then spraying over it a solution which is prepared by adding an amount (corresponding to at least 0.5wt% of the solid component of the heat-ray- absorbing layer 32) of an aqueous solution of an organic ammonium silicate such as SiO2-choline to a liquid suspension of a heat-ray-absorbing matter such as graphite. As a result, improved adhesion is achieved and the separation of particles is prevented, thereby increasing the withstand voltage and the emission life characteristics of the cathode-ray tube.

On the surface of metal-film layers 6 and 6a, except an image-displayed region a, aqueous solution of graphite 8, in which amorphous silica of low electron scattering-featured material is added to form a monochrome cathode-ray tube. Hence, with the influence of scattering reflection electrons being lessened, an image with good contrast can be obtained even in case of a reverse display system.
