    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for preventing a temperature of a carbonized sludge in the inside of a carbonization tube from being lowered by discharging a high-temperature carbonized product to be discharged from a carbonization furnace while shielding air by a rotary valve, and thereafter spraying water thereon.
      SOLUTION: The high-temperature carbonized product discharged from the carbonization furnace kept at negative pressure by sucking a combustion gas by a ventilating fan 15 while blocking the inflow of open air by a rotary valve 4a installed in the inlet of a material to be carbonized, and a rotary valve 4b (e.g. the water-cooled one) having a cooling structure, and installed in the outlet of the carbonized product, is discharged from the rotary valve 4b having the cooling structure, and thereafter the moisturizing water is sprayed thereon. Preferably, a rotary valve 4c is installed at the downstream of the rotary valve 4b, and the air is flowed in from the position between them to surely prevent the inflow of water vapor to the carbonization tube.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbonizing system solving problems on a combustion nozzle that the nozzle is gradually blocked caused of substance stuck in carbonizing sewage sludge in the carbonizing system which discharges and burns dry distillation gas generated inside of a carbonizing tube from the combustion nozzle installed on the top of the carbonizing tube.
      SOLUTION: The invention relates to the screw type carbonizing system comprising a screw type carbonizing tube substantially horizontally installed in a carbonizing furnace with low oxygen atmosphere, and the material to be carbonized which is conveyed by a screw conveyer, is heated from outside and dry distilled, wherein a mechanism is installed to release the block of the nozzle by the gas belched to the combustion nozzle installed on the top of the screw type carbonizing tube. A guiding means which guides the gas belch toward the combustion nozzle from the end of screw conveyer axis is used. The mechanism which is capable of setting the position and time of gas belching to the combustion nozzle is preferably used.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for surely separating a carbonized product kept at a prescribed ignition temperature or above from an uncarbonized product igniting at a temperature below the prescribed ignition temperature.
      SOLUTION: A screw type carbonizing furnace is obtained by nearly horizontally installing screw type carbonizing pipes kept in a low-oxygen atmosphere in the carbonizing furnace and heating and carbonizing a material which is transported with a screw type conveyor to be carbonized from the outside. The furnace is equipped with a separating mechanism for measuring the temperature of the carbonized material before cooling discharged from the carbonizing furnace and taking out the carbonized product with a product line when the measured value is the prescribed temperature or above and the uncarbonized material from a line separate from the line of the carbonized product when the measured value is below the prescribed temperature.
