Wireless communication is performed between the sensor nodes and between a sensor node and a gateway apparatus, and wireless communication is performed between a gateway apparatus and the center apparatus via a pay communication network.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meter such as a gas meter, especially, a meter capable of recording a history of shocks applied from outside.SOLUTION: A sensor 2b extracts a low-frequency component (for example, equal to or lower than 50 Hz) by an LPF 2c (S102), and measures three-axial acceleration values at predetermined sampling intervals (for example, 100 Hz) (S101). The filtered low-frequency component signal is transmitted to a CPU 2a. The sensor 2b normally detects vertical gravity acceleration continuously in a meter installed state, but when the absolute value of the acceleration of the low-frequency component increases above a threshold (corresponding to a first threshold in the claim) (YES at S103), the sensor determines that a shock is applied from outside (S104), receives acceleration values and time data in a certain time before and after that, and saves the data in time series in a memory part 2e (S105). Further, the application of the shock is reported to a center monitoring center 11 (S106).
