    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete-filed steel pipe column capable of suppressing the local buckling of a column steel pipe while reducing its material cost.SOLUTION: On each outside face of a steel pipe upper end 12BU of a steel pipe body part 12B, a vertically reinforcing rib 20 is provided as an end reinforcing member. The vertically reinforcing rib 20 is formed of a flat steel sheet, and its axial direction is set to be the axial direction (arrow-Z direction) of a column steel pipe 12 and one cross direction end 20A is butted on the cross direction center of the outside face of the steel pipe upper end 12BU and joined thereto with welding. A length L of the vertically reinforcing rib 20 is approximately 1.5 times as a width D of the column steel pipe 12, where D is the width of the steel pipe body part 12B. The vertically reinforcing ribs 20 impart out-of-plane rigidity to four side walls of the steel pipe upper end 12BU.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fireproof board for a curtain wall, which has proper workability and constitutes the interlayer section of the curtain wall, and to provide a structure for supporting the fireproof board having a high mounting strength.
      SOLUTION: A recess 20 is formed in the plate material 12 of the fireproof board 10 for the curtain wall, and a joint metal 16 is mounted inside the recess 20. The joint metal 16 has a planar portion 18 which abuts on the bottom wall of the recess 20, and an end of a nut 14 is joined to the planar portion 18. The joint metal 16, which has a rising portion 26 raised from an end of the planar portion 18 and joined to the peripheral wall of the recess 20, is joined to the peripheral wall by means of a screw 22. The opening of the recess 20 is closed with a decorative plate 28. The fireproof board 10 is arranged by directing the insertion opening side of the nut 14 to a building side (in a direction of an arrow A), and supported by screwing a bolt 36, inserted into the mounting hole 33 of a mounting bracket 32, into the nut 14. In other words, the fireproof board is supported from a building frame via the mounting bracket 32.
