An excavated-material discharge opening 14 is formed at the excavation blade 10, and a solidifying-material discharge opening 31 is formed above the agitating part 20. There is also provided the soil improvement method.

      SOLUTION: The excavator 1 includes a rotating means 20 which is comprised of a fixed shaft 21, a first agitating means 50, an excavating means 30, and a second agitating means 40. The fixed shaft 21 is supported by a base machine 10. The first agitating means 50 has its first agitating shaft 54 connected to a hollow motor 51, and is rotatable around the first agitating shaft 54 and the fixed shaft 21 penetrating the hollow motor 51. The excavating means 30 is arranged under the first agitating means 50, and its excavating shaft 35 having an excavating blade 33 is connected to a hollow motor 31, whereby the excavating means 30 is rotatable around the fixed shaft 21 inserted into the hollow motor 31. The second agitating means 40 has a second agitating shaft 44 connected to a hollow motor 41, and is rotatable around the second agitating shaft 44 and the excavating shaft 35 penetrating the hollow motor 41.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to change the thickness of an underground wall to comply with stress and thereby execute work by inserting a cage which reduces its upper wall thickness into an excavated ditch and inserting a wedge- like pull-out form into the ditch in such a state that its maximum width side may be positioned on the upper part and then placing concrete. SOLUTION: A general excavating machine is used to excavate a ditch whose thickness is uniform from the upper end to the bottom where the ditch is excavated while a stabilizing liquid is being filled up. Then, a cage 2, whose upper part is thinly shaped up, is lowered and inserted into the ditch. Then, a wedge- like pull-out type form 3 is inserted into the ditch and then concrete is placed into the ditch. When the concrete is cured and unaided support is available, the wedge-like pull-out form 3 is pulled up to the ground. Then, a slope-shaped space is produced in that area. To comply with this, a backfill material is filled up so as to prevent the collapse of the ditch if the space is located on a natural ground side. This construction makes it possible to change the thickness of an underground wall, responding to stress and thereby execute work.

    • PURPOSE:To provide an underground wall which can be used as an impervious wall during construction work and which can be made permeable after completion of construction work by disposing a biodegradable material in a permeable hole passing through the underground wall. CONSTITUTION:An excavated groove 3 is excavated in the ground and a cage of reinforcing bar 12 is disposed in the groove 3. A permeable pipe 21 is disposed at several points of the cage 12 so that the opposite ends of the pipe 21 are positioned adjacent to a permeable layer 31. Next, the opposite ends of the pipe 21 are closed with a cover 23 made of biodegradable material and the outer surface of the cover 23 is coated with a thin film 24 and also water sealing material 26 is filled into the peripheral surface of the cover 23. And concrete is cast into the groove 3 and cured to construct an underground wall. And muddy water mixed with bacteria is supplied from a supply pipe 25. As a result, after completion of the construction work, when the cover 23 is biodegraded and ceases to exist, the pipe 21 becomes permeable so that flow of underground water is restored.
