摘要： PURPOSE:To speedily cool a steam turbine without generating distortion or crack in a turbine metal or the like of the steam turbine by providing a fan for circulating a cooling medium, flow rate control valves for controlling a flow rate of the cooling medium, and temperature sensors for measuring temperatures of the metal of the steam turbine. CONSTITUTION:A fan 5 circulates a cooling medium, and a flow rate control valve 6 controls a flow rate of the cooling medium. A pressure control valve 8 keeps on a suction side of the fan 5 at an atmospheric pressure in such a manner as not to make a steam turbine 1 become at a negative pressure. Another flow rate control valve 10 equalizes a cooling effect inside the turbine. A temperature of a metal on a team outlet side is measured 11, and a temperature of the metal on a steam inlet side is measured 12. A temperature in an inlet of the cooling medium is measured 13, and a temperature in an outlet of the cooling medium is measured 14. A controller controls at least one of the fan 5, a heat exchanger for the cooling medium 7, the cooling medium flow rate control valve 6 on the basis of the temperatures, thus controlling a temperature and flow rate of the cooling medium.

摘要： PURPOSE:To quickly cool a steam turbine after operation stop of the steam turbine by letting cooling medium flow in the cooling passage in a jacket covering a turbine casing, or in the steam turbine, and forcedly cooling it. CONSTITUTION:The casing 2 of a steam turbine 1 is covered with a jacket 10. A cooling medium passage 11 is formed between the jacket 10 and the casing 2. A cooling medium inlet 12 and a cooling medium outlet 13 are formed on the jacket cover 10. A cooling medium supply device is constituted out of a cooling medium inlet valve 14, a heat exchanger 15, a cooling medium transport device 16, a cooling medium flow control valve 17, and the like. In this way, the steam turbine is quickly cooled after operation stop, and the waiting time up to beginning of disassembling work can be remarkably reduced.
