    • PURPOSE: To increase the efficiency of a large-scale drilling operation, etc., and to reduce construction period by guiding automatic construction-work vehicles to specified positions in a construction work area, issuing commands, and thus establishing an unmanned earthwork system that can operate continuously for twenty-four hours. CONSTITUTION: Unmanned automatic construction-work vehicles each having a mobile station 2 are guided in a predetermined direction at a designated site for construction work by having two-way communication with fixed stations 3, obtain position information, and receive a command to start construction work. After predetermined construction work is performed, desired fixed points 6 are searched for in accordance with current position information, and the fixed stations 3 receiving information from the mobile stations 2 command the mobile stations 2 to advance. Next, the mobile stations 2, by means of their own action, start moving at full speed toward only pulse light of a specific frequency which the desired fixed points 6 issue. For example, earth-discharging cranes 7 are installed to vertically transport and discharge earth, and the plurality of automatic construction work vehicles 2 proceed with predetermined construction work in accordance with guidance and commands. Unmanned construction work in which the vehicles gather at the desired fixed points 6 proceeds, after which the fixed stations 3 issue a command to stop the vehicles 2.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a method for constructing a great depth vertical shaft having a large section in a short period of time at a low cost. CONSTITUTION:A hole 4 having such a shape as a plurality of circular arcs are partially overlapped with each other is excavated by a multihead type reverse machine, and a plurality of precast slabs dividing in plane a vertical shaft structure 5 having a modular axial length in a shape partially overlapping a plurality of circular arcs having the approximately same plane type as that of the hole are manufactured at a plant. After that, the precast slabs manufactured at the plant are built up, a bottom board 9 having watertight construction is installed to the vertical shaft structure of the front end ring, the vertical shaft structures are piled up one ring at a time and are settled into the hole 4 while keeping the balance of buoyancy of stabilizing liquid 10, and after the vertical shaft structures are settled up to specific depth, back- filling concrete 11 is placed around the peripheral surface of the vertical shaft structures in the hole. According to the constitution, a series of works such as excavation by a reverse method and assembly and settlement of the precast slabs are carried out relatively within a short period of time, construction can be economically and safely executed within a short construction period, and it can correspond to the need of a deep vertical shaft having a large section.
