    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lumbering apparatus capable of more complex operations, and a hanging jig.SOLUTION: A lumbering apparatus for pruning trees from above includes a hanging jig suspended by a crane and whose rotation axis matches the direction of gravity, and a pruning device provided at the hanging jig. The hanging jig includes a mount, a plurality of fans mounted on the mount, an azimuth sensor capable of detecting the azimuth of the mount, and a control unit for controlling the operation of the fans. The azimuth sensor comprises at least two GPSs and detects the current azimuth of the mount on the basis of the measurements taken by the GPSs. On the basis of the current azimuth detected, the control unit controls the amount of air of the fans so that the mount transitions in a desired azimuth.
