    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immune complex transfer enzyme immunoassay method, capable of detecting HCV at a high sensitivity, and to provide a reagent kit employed for the same.
      SOLUTION: The immunoassay method for hepatitis C virus (HCV) includes a step of forming a complex body containing a labeled antibody binding to HCV core protein, a primary antibody binding to HCV core protein and HCV core protein on a first solid phase, a step of releasing the complex body formed on the first solid phase and transferring to a second solid phase that is different from the first solid phase, and a step of measuring the label of the complex transferred to the second phase, wherein each of the labeled antibody and the first antibody binds to the different sites of HCV core protein, and the binding sites do not include the 49th amino acid of HCV core protein shown in the sequence No.2.
