    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining risk of cancer relapse which is based on a comprehensive activity value of a transmembrane tyrosine kinase expressed in a cell of a tumor tissue collected from a cancer patient. SOLUTION: The cancer relapse risk is determined on the basis of a comprehensive activity value of a transmembrane tyrosine kinase of a tumor cell. The comprehensive activity value of a transmembrane tyrosine kinase is obtained by a sample preparation step, to separate the cytoplasm from a cell in a tumor tissue collected from a cancer patient and prepare samples containing various kinds of transmembrane tyrosine kinases; a contacting step to contact the transmembrane tyrosine kinase in the sample with a substrate for at least two kinds of transmembrane tyrosine kinases and phosphorylate the substrate by the activity of the transmembrane tyrosine kinase in the sample; a detection step of detecting the phosphorylated substrate; and a determination step of determining the activity value of the transmembrane tyrosine kinase in the sample, based on the detected result.
