摘要： PURPOSE: To permit forming of a seal for a piston rod so as to execute pressure compensation at all times in an inner chamber of a protection cover, by forming a seal plate air-permeably at all times. CONSTITUTION: A seal plate 15 is disposed on a piston rod 12 adjacent to a fastening eye 13 area provided on the piston rod, the seal plate 15 and a pressure tube 11 are covered with a protection cover 16, and the cover 16 is made of an extruded elastomer capable of resisting high temperatures. The cover 16 surrounds the pressure tube throughout its length, and extends along the length of the piston rod 12 to the area of the fastening eye 13 beyond the seal 15. An outer diameter of the seal 15 generally corresponds to or is 10 to 20% larger than an outer diameter of the pressure tube 11 and a seal between the cover 16 and the seal plate 15 is improved with a peculiar radial tension. The seal plate 15 is made of an air-permeable porous material, so that ventilation in an inner chamber of the cover 16 is accomplished.

摘要： PURPOSE: To make it act with a simple handle operation during finishing and assembling and also to enable it ensure a continous position by making a control pin so as to stop its axial movement at the specified length by thrusting a lock blade into a wall portion. CONSTITUTION: In order to compensate the length of a release rammer 17, a control pin 20 is drawn out of a rammer hole 19 by a compression spring 21, pressing an operating means for a furniture portion subject to height control. In this case, a setting error is compensated at the outset, and after the arrival of a contact point, the control pin 20 is rotated in the direction of an arrow 31 in use of a rectangular section 35. Here a lock blade 22 is cut in a chamfered wall portion 30 with no motion in the axial direction. With this cut-in, the control pin 20 is prevented from its axial motion and thereby locked tight, then the whole axial length of the release rammer 17 is adjusted in accord with each setting error. In addition, in order to avoid an overspeed in the blade 22, a stopper 36 is installed in the wall portion 30, and for preventing any backward rotation of a screw 20, the blade 22 is provided with a return preventing part 32 at the end of a lead 34.

摘要： PURPOSE: To improve sealing function of a gas spring by having a sealing ring which comprises sealing rings in its external circumference that engage an internal circumferential surface of the container tube, and a narrow sealing lip that faces towards axial direction and engages an external circumferential surface of the piston rod. CONSTITUTION: A container tube 11 of a gas spring 10 is divided by a sealing ring 15 into a working room 12 which is full of compressed air and a liquid room 13 which is full of sealing liquid. The ring 15 is loaded by a stop ring 16. The ring 15 is made of elastomeric material and has three sealing rings 20 in its external circumference 19. The ring 15 seals the container tube 11 by making its sealing rings 20 closely engaging the internal circumferential surface of the container tube 11. The ring 15 gets sharp on the other end towards the axial direction and it becomes a sealing lip 22. The sealing lip 22 works as sealing rings 23 which engages the external circumferential surface of piston rod 14. The sealing rings 23 are symmetrically formed and have a determined curvature radius.
