    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress color tone variation of an optical body due to variation of incident angle of incident light.SOLUTION: The optical body has a first optical layer having a rugged surface, a wavelength selective reflection layer formed over the rugged surface, and a second optical layer formed over the wavelength selective reflection layer so as to smooth out the rugged surface. The wavelength selective reflection layer has a layered structure in which at least a first high refractive index layer, a metal layer, and a second high refractive index layer are sequentially laminated. X, y and z are determined so as to satisfy the following expression (1), where the optical film thicknesses of the first high refractive index layer and the second high refractive index layer are respectively represented by x and y, and the geometric film thickness of the metal layer is represented by z.
