    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen separation/recovery apparatus for recovering hydrogen from a mixed gas containing impurities with high yield by minimizing deterioration in a hydrogen storage alloy caused by carbon dioxide by performing hydrogen purge, and to provide a hydrogen separation/recovery method using the apparatus.
      SOLUTION: The hydrogen separation/recovery apparatus includes (A) a hydrogen storage alloy housing chamber which has a heating/cooling means for heating and cooling the hydrogen storage alloy and is filled with the hydrogen storage alloy, (B) a hydrogen storage tank for storing hydrogen discharged from the hydrogen storage alloy, (C) piping for connecting the hydrogen storage alloy housing chamber to the hydrogen storage tank and (D) an opening/closing means for passing or stopping hydrogen flow, which is provided between the hydrogen storage alloy housing chamber and the hydrogen storage tank. The hydrogen separation/recovery method is also disclosed.
