摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure smoothness of axial movement of an assist shaft in an electric power steering device. SOLUTION: The electric power steering device 10 comprises the assist shaft 21 that is supported by a housing 11 via a bearing 22 and connected to a rotating shaft 32 of an electric motor 30, and an elastic support tool 50 that is mounted between the assist shaft 21 and the bearing 22 and elastically supporting the assist shaft 21 to two-way in the axial direction for the housing 11. When the elastic support tool 50 grapples an elastic body 53 between both side plates 51 and 52, the elastic body 53 is in a compression process, and a side plate 52 slidably contacts with the assist shaft 21, the elastic body 53 radially forms a clearance 54 between it and the assist shaft 21. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To load a bush for slidably supporting the outer periphery of a rack shaft into a circular groove of a housing without looseness in an axial direction to reduce occurence of collision noise during sliding of the rack shaft.SOLUTION: A steering device 1 is configured by loading a bush 10 into a circular groove 11 provided in the inner periphery of a housing 2 and supporting slidably the outer periphery of a rack shaft 3 in the bush 10, where the bush 10 is a spiral bush 10 whose both ends extending in a circumferential direction are cut off. In a plurality of positions extending in the circumferential direction of both lateral faces of the circular bush 10 is integrally formed a protrusion 10A protruding toward an axial direction, and when the circular bush 10 is loaded into the circular groove 11 of the housing 2, the protrusion 10A of both lateral faces of the bush 10 has interference fit to the groove width of the circular groove 11.
