摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing and drying machine which can effectively wet laundry in a rotary drum right after the start of the supply of washing water, and thereby can contribute to the shortening of a washing period of time.SOLUTION: In the washing and drying machine which comprises: a washing tub 2 supported in an outer casing 1; and the rotary drum 3 which rotates inside of the washing tub 2 on the same axis, a water supply nozzle 54 is provided midway in an introduction duct 61 for introducing dry air inside of the rotary drum 3, and further the water supply nozzle 54 is provided midway of a water supply path of the washing water so as to communicate with the water supply path through an auxiliary water supply pipe 53. At the start of the supply of the washing water, the washing water is supplied so as to spread in a width direction in the introduction duct 61 through the auxiliary water supply pipe 53 and the water supply nozzle 54, also transported by transporting air passing in the introduction duct 61 and fed inside of the rotary drum 3 through an introduction port 65 provided at the end of the introduction duct 61.

It is not necessary to maintain a high pressure in the exhaust duct 73, while suppressing the generation of noise caused by a blower fan 70.
