摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locating system in which the location information can be transmitted to a third person from a terminal having the location information obtained from a GPS signal.
SOLUTION: A locating system 10 is composed of a personal handy terminal 13 having a telephone number and/or an ID number to be accessed by the third person and having a means for receiving the GPS signal to obtain the location information and a means for transmitting the location information via a radio channel 14, a mobile communication station 15 having a means for receiving the location information via the radio channel 14 and a means for transmitting the location information via a first general wired channel 161, a host server 17 having a means for receiving the location information via the first general wired channel and transmitting the information via a second wired channel 162, and personal computers 18, 20 which are connected to the host server via the second wired channel for monitoring actions of a user of the personal handy terminal 13.
