    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a straw transporting device capable of automatically fixing abnormal locking caused by the careless miss of a returning operation after the lifting of a straw discharging chain to remove clogging materials and preventing the troubles of the breakage induced by the winding and clogging.
      SOLUTION: A motion to close a threshing cylinder cover 1 is interlocked with a locking motion to lower the straw discharging chain 2. An action lever 5 and a lock arm 7 form a V-form at a lock released position to lift the straw discharging chain 2. A contact plate 11 at the side of the threshing cylinder cover 1 precedently exerts action on the lock arm 7 to press the tip end 6 of the integrally rotating lever 5 with a following lock plate 13 and keep a transporting state to engage the straw discharging chain 2 with a clamping guide 3 at a closed position of the threshing cylinder cover 1.

In the apparatus, a shaft 1 of the treating cylinder 7 is formed into a divided freely fitted and removed structure to separate a treating chamber 6 from the elevating cylinder 5 for the tailings. Thereby, the apparatus is composed so that the front connected by drawing and inserting a wall plate 11 along a connecting surface 15 is opened to clean the clogging, etc., and a receiving net 17 peripherally installed in the threshing chamber 8 is removed to make the treating cylinder 7 demountable to the side of the threshing chamber 8. As a result, the inspection and maintenance can be facilitated.
