    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generating device, and the like, that uses piezoelectric effects of a piezoelectric material so as to generate a high voltage without causing an increase in size.SOLUTION: A power generating device comprises: a deformable member; a first piezoelectric element and a second piezoelectric element that are provided in the deformable member; an inductor that forms a resonance circuit including the first piezoelectric element; a switch that is provided in the resonance circuit; a rectifier circuit that rectifies current generated by the first piezoelectric element; an electrical storage element that is connected in parallel to the first piezoelectric element through the rectifier circuit; a switching section that switches between a first state in which the second piezoelectric element is connected in parallel to the first piezoelectric element and a second state in which the second piezoelectric element is not connected to the first piezoelectric element; and a control section that controls the switch and the switching section. When voltage of the electrical storage element is lower than a reference value, the control section puts the switch in a non-conduction state and the switching section in the first state. When the voltage of the electrical storage element is equal to or higher than the reference value, the control section puts the switching section in the second state, and puts the switch in a conduction state for a predetermined period of time by detecting voltage or current generated by the second piezoelectric element.
