    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freezer including a liquid injection circuit, enabling energy-saving control as compared with the conventional one by adding a bypass circuit to the conventional refrigerant circuit without improvement and replacement of a compressor to thereby continuously change the output of a fixed speed rotary compressor, and further making the life of the compressor longer than that of the conventional one.
      SOLUTION: This freezer includes a bypass circuit communicating the liquid injection circuit with an inlet part of the compressor through an opening and closing valve, wherein the opening of the opening and closing valve is controlled to control the output of the compressor. Thus, the output of a fixed speed compressor can be controlled to a required magnitude, so that the compressor can be operated with higher efficiency than before. Since not on-off output control but the compressor is continuously operated and simultaneously the output is controlled, the life of the compressor can be made longer as compared with the capacity control of the conventional freezer.
