    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for driving a display panel that can reduce the emission of an EMI due to an abrupt change of a current.
      SOLUTION: The apparatus drives the display panel by supplying electric power to a plurality of electrode lines from a power source of at least one or more levels, and has a first control signal which controls connections between a power source for a first specified voltage and the electrode lines and a second control switch which controls connections between the respective electrode lines and a power source for a second specified voltage. When a signal for opening the first control switch and closing the second control switch is supplied to all the electrode lines, the electrode lines are divided into two or more groups and made different, group by group, in the timing where the first control switch is opened and the second control switch is closed.
