    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive organic and inorganic composite composition and a process for its production, a conductive organic and inorganic composite thin film produced using the composition, an organic electroluminescent device equipped with the conductive organic and inorganic composite thin film, and a process for production of the organic electroluminescent device.
      SOLUTION: The conductive organic and inorganic composite composition is produced by mixing a mixed solution containing a monomer for a conductive polymer, an oxidizing agent and an alcoholic solvent, and a silica sol solution containing an organic silicone compound, water, an acidic catalyst and an alcoholic solvent, and processes for production of the conductive organic and inorganic composite thin film using the composition, and the organic electroluminescent device equipped with the conductive organic and inorganic composite thin film are provided. A conductive organic and inorganic composite composition which is hydrophobic, insoluble in water and an organic solvent, excellent in mechanical strength, thermally and chemically stable, and capable of achieving a variety of modification with respect to its constitution can be provided.
