Data lines crossing the gate lines and having source electrodes and drain electrodes separated from the data lines are formed at the upper part of the gate insulating film and conductor bodies for shielding light are formed to be parallel to the data lines in same layer as the data lines and the drain electrodes. A protective film having contact holes each exposing a portion of the drain electrode and consisting of an organic insulating substance is formed thereon and pixel electrodes connected to the drain electrodes through the contact holes are formed at an upper part of the protective film.
