SOLUTION: The sheet-like blanket having a cloth layer, a compressive layer and a surface print layer is manufactured in a lengthy state, and suitably cut and adhered onto the outer periphery of a seamless sleeve to constitute a cylindrical printing blanket. The seam of this blanket is normally continued by filling an elastomer, and a thread layer may be provided between the cloth layer and the sleeve.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting bar of a printing blanket which can enhance a holding power (clamping power) of a printing blanket, and improve it to such a shape as to make a clamping plate hardly openable by caulking the end part of the printing blanket so that the end part can be clamped, and besides, can show an improved fitting performance to a printer.
SOLUTION: This mounting bar of the printing blanket is equipped with a first clamping plate 11 and a second clamping plate 12, both having a connecting end 13 and an open end 12a, and a connection part 13 which links the connecting ends 13 of the first and the second clamping plate 11 and 12 together. In addition, the mounting bar 20 can be fitted to the printing blanket by clamping the end part of the printing blanket with the help of a pair of the clamping plates 10 which allow the first and the second clamping plate 11 an 12 to open into a chevron shape around the connection part 13. Besides, the thickness of the first clamping plate 11 which clamps the surface rubber side of the printing blanket, is increased on the connecting end 13 side rather than the open end 11a side. Meanwhile, the thickness of the second clamping plate 12 which clamps the back base fabric side is decreased on the connecting end 13 side rather than the open end 12a side.

SOLUTION: This rubber roller comprises a cylindrical rubber layer fixed around a shaft. Base material comprising woven fabric, nonwoven fabric, or resin film, on which a fixing layer of adhesive agent or hot-melt type bonding agent is provided, is wound on an outer circumferential surface of the shaft for one round or more, so that it is fixed to the shaft through the adhesive agent or hot-melt type bonding agent. An unvulcanized rubber sheet is wound on an outer circumferential surface of the base material, and it is then vulcanized to be bonded, so that the shaft and the rubber layer are fixed to each other. For recycling, the base material is removed with the adhesive agent or bonding agent on the outer circumferential surface of the shaft, thereby the shaft becomes reusable.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a printing blanket, the thickness variability of which falls within the range of about 1/100 mm or less when the blanket is tensely mounted on the cylinder of a printing machine.
SOLUTION: In the manufacture of the printing blanket, a surface rubber layer is laminated on a support layer including at least one base and both are molded in one piece. Next, the surface rubber layer is polished while a tension of 5 to 20 kgf/cm is applied to the obtained molded body. When the molded body is molded into a long sheet 1, the surface rubber layer is polished using a polishing roll 2 while the tension is applied to the molded body using a back roll 3. In the case of a short sheet, the molded body is mounted on a cylinder 4 under the tension of 5 to 20 kgf/cm applied thereto and the surface rubber layer is polished.

The base cloths 4a, 4b are of cotton or polyester fabric, while the rubber material is, for example, an acryl/nitrile/butadiene copolymer rubber or chloroprene rubber. In addition, a rubber agent is coated to the fabric using any appropriate coating means such as blade coating. Thus it is possible to prevent whiskers from generating in the edge part of a fine line or pin holes from generating in a fine pattern when the fine pattern is printed.

The shaft center is formed detachable from the hollow part of the cylindrical support body. The shaft center comprises an air filling port at the end thereof and a plurality of air blow holes at the portion thereof fitted to the cylindrical support body. The shaft center can be installed by pressing air from the air filling port and expanding a sleeve rubber member. Also, this tool is formed in the same structure as that of the shaft center and usable as a tool for installing the normal shaft center (without air blow hole).
