    • PURPOSE:To reduce variations of a step difference by forming a composite magnetic head block by combining a ring core block in which a non-magnetic member is embedded at an equal interval in the joint part, through a non-magnetic separated layer, when combining a core half body block. CONSTITUTION:A degree of azimuth of gaps Ga, Gb can be set optionally by an angle of a cutting plane against joint parts 4a, 4b at the time of cutting. A gap pitch can be determined by the thickness of a part to be cut of ring core blocks 1a, 1b.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording circuit which can reduce an influence due to the variation of a magnetic head, attaches a 'whisker' to a recording current and can prevent the peak shift of a regenerative signal with low power consump tion. SOLUTION: A 1st differential circuit consisting of transistors Q1 and Q2 generates a recording current Iw in the magnetic head MHD in accordance with a differential input signal. A 2nd differential circuit consisting of transistors Q3 and Q4 is connected in parallel to the 1st differential circuit, a large collector current Ic1 is outputted just after the transistor Q1 is made to conduct, the recording current Iw of the magnetic head is sharply started, the 2nd differential circuit switches states after prescribed delay time, the collector current Ic1 of the transistor Q4 is supplied to the magnetic head, and the recording current Iw generated in the magnetic head is reduced and held to a fixed value. Because a reverse recording current Iw is generated in the magnetic head in the next half period, a 'whisker' having fixed amplitude and width in the rise and fall of the recording current can be generated to prevent the peak shift of the regenerative signal.

    • PURPOSE: To obtain a quantization feedback circuit capable of well reproducing the low frequency range components of ternary analog signals in which the low frequency range components are lost. CONSTITUTION: The RR-I equalization signal from an equalizer 12 is supplied as a ternary equalization signal to comparators 19, 20 constituting a ternary level identifying means via an analog adder 18. The output of this comparator 19 attains a '1' when the ternary equalization signal is higher than the threshold voltage + Eth. The output attains a '0' in other cases. On the other hand, the output of the comparator 20 attains a '1' when the ternary equalization signal is lower than the threshold voltage - Eth and the output attains a '0' in other cases. The output signal of these comparators 19, 20 are ORed and are led out as reproducing data to an output terminal 24. The outputs of the compartors 19, 20 are supplied to a differential amplifier 2 as a ternary analog signal restoring means. The low frequency components are extracted by a low-pass filter 23 by the restored ternary analog signals and the ternary equalization signal is formed by adding these components to the output of the equalizer 12 by an adder 18.
