When an error is detected by the decoder 44, double error correction is applied to output a pointer P1=1, it is subject to de- interleaving 43 together with the data and the result is inputted to a C2 decoder 42. When the number of pointers P1 is a prescribed number or below, the decoder 42 applies double error correction and outputs a P2=0. When the number of the P1 is a prescribed number or over, no error correction is applied, and a flag representing ineffective data is set to a location where the P1 is set and an error location calculated by the decoder 42, the result is subject to descrambling 41 and the original data is reproduced.

The symbol distance in error correction code series is applied to a part of the D' block in the range in which the remaining value D'' is not made smaller than the D-block.     • PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a pointer by decoding a C2 series without using decoding information (pointer) after a C1 series is decoded and checking the presence of an error as to a data after the error correction. CONSTITUTION:A 27-symbol data constituting C1 series is read one by one series from a data for one sector's content stored in a RAM 11 under the control of a RAM controller and the error correction up to 2-symbol error is performed by a syndrome calculation circuit 12 and an error correction operation circuit 13. Then de-interleaving processing is performed, then a 23-symbol data constituting C2 series is read one by one series and the error correction up to 2-symbol error is executed. Then one error correction and processing are finished and the 2nd error correction processing is applied once. Then syndrome inspection is applied from a data after error correction and re-transmission request is performed with any error.

The detector 3 compares a threshold value obtained from a terminal 3a with a degree of similarity between angle information, outputs similar and not similar signals respectively in accordance with a condition whether or not the degree of similarity within the threshold value. The memory 4 renews its storing contents receiving not a similar signal. An information compression part 5 removes angle information supplied when receiving the similar signal, and outputs angle information supplied when receiving a not-similar signal. The registered mode stores angle information compressed at a compression part 5 in the standard memory 7 through a switch 6, and the recognition mode part supplies a DP matching process 8.
