    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conceal an electrode portion of a different color from the other portion of a solar cell module without increasing an assembling step of the module to unify the color of the CIS based thin film solar cell module as a whole, thereby enhancing a fine view.
      SOLUTION: The external view of the solar cell module 1 is made beautiful by unifying the color of a submodule 3 and the color of an electrode 3A of the submodule 3, and a black ceramic layer 7 of the substantially same color as the submodule 3 is formed on the back (lower face) of a peripheral end of a cover glass 4. The silver white electrode 3A formed in an outer circumference of the submodule 3 is concealed by the black ceramic layer 7, and the module 1 has the unified color as a whole, thereby enhancing a fine view. A baking work of the black ceramic layer 7 is carried out by utilizing heat when the cover glass 4 is reinforced by thermal treatment.
