摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation and damage of EVA(ethylene vinyl acetate) resin film, which is a sealant, by enhancing characteristics of heat dissipation from a by-pass diode. SOLUTION: This solar cell module is so constituted that strings ST, each of which is a series connection of m pieces of solar cells, are series-connected by a jumper ribbon 4, while a chip-shaped by-pass diode 5 is connected parallel to the strings ST. The diode 5 is connected between jumper ribbons 4A and 4C. Both the upper and lower faces, or either thereof, of regions around the connecting point are covered (stuck) by thin pieces E1 and E2, E1 or E2, of a resin film, and subsequently the front face and the backside face are covered by EVA resin film layers for sealing (not illustrated). By such a simple constitution, the heat dissipated from the diode 5 is efficiently dissipated, and degradation and damage of the EVA resin film for sealing are prevented.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the power generation quantity of a solar battery module itself and a solar battery array where the modules are installed on a triangular or trapezoidal roof face and to improve appearance. SOLUTION: A triangular batter module 1 whose plane form is almost triangular or whose acute angle is 46-50 degrees or a trapezoidal solar battery module is combined with a square solar battery module of a conventional type. Then, it is installed on the non-square roof face such as a triangular or trapezoidal type. Thus, a blank part where the square module does not exist is reduced, power generation quantity increases and appearance also improves. Furthermore, power generation quantity increases and appearance improves by installing a dummy cell and the like in a blank part 5 where an almost square solar battery cell 2 does not exist even in the triangular solar battery module 1 itself.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the output of the module by making a thin surfacing material usable for the module and, at the same time, reducing the light reflecting quantity of the surfacing material. CONSTITUTION:The module is constituted in such a way that a plurality of solar battery cells 5 electrically interconnected 4 to each other are arranged on a substrate 2 with a filler 3 in between and the light incident-side of the cells 5 is coated with a surfacing material 6 for forming the surface of the module. Numerous spherical projections are formed on the surface of the module and their preferable diameters and heights are 4.5mm and 0.35mm, respectively. When the module is constituted in such a structure, the surface material of the module 1 does not crease and the production yield of the module can be improved. At the same time, the output of the module can be improved, because the light reflecting quantity of the module is small as compared with other modules having flat module surfaces.

The silver white electrode 3A formed in an outer circumference of the submodule 3 is concealed by the black ceramic layer 7, and the module 1 has the unified color as a whole, thereby enhancing a fine view. A baking work of the black ceramic layer 7 is carried out by utilizing heat when the cover glass 4 is reinforced by thermal treatment.

A plurality of the above light emitting boards 3 are laid out for a desired display pattern (the figure shows a capital letter A) enabling the display panel to function as a display panel even while there's no sunshine. Also by laying the solar cell 2 in the space on the panel 1 where there are no light emitting boards 3, the present invention utilizes the electromotive force of solar light for devices other than this display panel. For the above fluorescent material an aluminum oxide SrAl2 O4 is used as a main material and a baked activator such as Eu2+Dy2+ is used as a supplementary material.
