    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply adjust the camera by using an adder means so as to use an arithmetic means to adjust two color difference signals R-Y, B-Y while light is shielded. SOLUTION: When a carrier balance setting mode SW 24 is set to high level, color difference signals R-Y, B-Y are given to integration circuits 17R, 17B by selectors 25R, 25B independently of the result of a coordinate transformation circuit 12 and limit circuits 13, 14. Thus, data fed to the circuits 17R, 17B are not usual I, Q but data of color difference signals R-Y, B-Y and the data are added by one field. Since a high level from the SW 24 is given to an OR circuit 26, an output of an AND circuit 15 is equal to an output of the luminance limit circuit 14 independently of an output from the limit circuit 13 and a counter circuit 18 counts number of picture elements to satisfy the condition of the luminance limit circuit 14. The sum ata are given to a transmission circuit 10, from which the data are fed to a microcomputer for controlling field AWB.

    • PURPOSE: To obtain a beautiful video image without defects apparently by adding the position of an image defect of an image pickup element as auxiliary information and allowing a signal processing section to supplement data of the picture element defect based on the added information. CONSTITUTION: The equipment is provided with an addition means adding a position of a picture element defect of a CCD 101 for each line to a digital video signal from a camera head section as auxiliary information and a means using a signal processing section to compensate data of the picture element defect based on the information added by the additional means. Then a position and a number (N) for each line of the picture element defect of the CCD 101 are recorded in a storage means 11. A number N of the picture element defect in the line is read from the storage means 11 by an ADR generating section 12. The ADR generating section 12 generates an address output signal ADR representing an output period of address data. An OR section 14 generates a BLK signal rising faster by (N+1) clocks than the CBLK from the ADR and CBLK signal. The CBLK signal is a signal denoting the effective area of the image.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the digital signal processing circuit that is configured so that an output signal from a digital filter is extended and a required valid pixel number is ensured. SOLUTION: The digital signal processing circuit is provided with a digital filter 4 that smoothes an input signal A and provides an output of the smoothed signal, and the digital signal processing circuit converts the input signal A received from an image pickup element into a video signal and outputs it, and is also provided with an addition means 5 that adds pixel data included in the input signal A reaching the digital filter 4 to an output signal B being a video signal after being outputted from the digital filter 4. Through the configuration above, since the pixel data included in the input signal A to the digital filter 4 are repetitively added to the output signal B for a required number of times, the output signal B results in being extended and then a required valid pixel range is ensured.
