摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous detection which is to be caused by impulsive wave, accurately cope with the degree of damage of a house or the like which is caused by earthquake wave, and close an isolation valve. SOLUTION: When acceleration G which is a combined operation value of acceleration sensors S1, S2, S3 and their outputs is at least first acceleration G61 (e.g. 250 gal) of a first level recognition means, a time operation using a timer is started. With a second level recognition means, it is detected every time internal ΔW61 (e.g. 3 msec) within a time W61 (e.g. 2 sec) of the timer that the acceleration G is at least second acceleration G62 (e.g. 100 gal.) A continuous time counting means responds with an output of the second level recognition means, and counts a continuous time N when the acceleration G is at least the second acceleration G62. A reset means resets the continuous time counting means when the acceleration G becomes lower than the second acceleration G62. As a result, the continuous time counting means starts again the counting operation. When the continuous time N is at least a previously determined value N61 (e.g. 25 times), an isolation valve is closed.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a manufacturing cost by installing an acceleration sensor by inclining a plane vertical to the detecting direction to the vertical direction and a horizontal plane at gas meter installing time, and outputting a signal according to this vibrational acceleration when a gas meter vibrates in the vertical direction and the horizontal direction. SOLUTION: A gas passage 14 is arranged up to a discharge port 13 from a supply port 12 in a gas meter 10, and a weighing means 15 is interposed between these. A cutoff valve 16 is arranged between the weighing means 15 and the supply port 12 to cut off the gas passage 14 by driving a solenoid by input of a cutoff signal. A control unit 17 enclosing an earthquake sensitive device 19 composed of an acceleration sensor 11 and a control means 18 is installed on the gas meter 10 to output a signal according to acceleration in the detecting direction being the predetermined one direction from the acceleration sensor 11. The control means 18 judges whether it is an earthquake or not on the basis of this signal to output a cutoff signal to the cutoff valve 16 when judged as an earthquake to cut off the gas passage 14.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a gas meter capable of detecting pressure within the passage of the gas meter by means of a small and simple arrangement. SOLUTION: An opening 19 is formed in the bottom wall 14 of a control device attached to a gas meter and a gas is introduced into the opening 19 from a gas conduit communicated to the gas passage of the gas meter. A circuit board 20 with a pressure sensor 11 mounted thereon is a glass/epoxy-resin board with a through hole 23 formed therein. The bottom wall 14 with the opening 19 formed therein is provided with a mounting part 15 encircling the opening 19 and the circuit board 20 is hermetically mounted on the mounting part 15 via a gasket 21. The pressure sensor 11 mounted on the circuit board 20 has a gas inlet and is mounted on the circuit board 20 in such a way that the gas from the circuit board 20 is guided to the gas inlet.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To derive an earthquake detection signal when an energy density of an earthquake wave corresponding to the degree of damages by the earthquake is large. SOLUTION: Acceleration sensors S1, S2 derive outputs having one polarity and the other polarity corresponding to a capacitance change when a semiconductor single crystal silicon is etched and a vibrator is shifted by an earthquake wave. Absolute value circuits 1, 2 obtain absolute values of the outputs of the acceleration sensors and, level discrimination circuits 5, 6, 9 discriminate levels. Only a large acceleration is detected accordingly. Low pass filters 19-21 filter outputs of the level discrimination circuits 5, 6, 9 of approximately 0.1-10 Hz which is a range including a frequency of the earthquake wave, and feeds the outputs to an up/down counter 33. While the earthquake wave is within the frequency range, pulses of 400 Hz from an oscillator 28 are counted up. The pulses are counted down in other cases. When the counted value is not smaller than a reference value, the earthquake wave is judged to have a large energy density, whereby an earthquake detection signal is derived.

An arithmetic circuit 39, in response to the outputs of the circuits 37, 38, obtains their acceleration values, multiplies them by about 1/√2 to obtain an acceleration component α3 composed by the vector composition method. The outputs of the circuits 37-39 are given to a max. value select circuit 41 which derives a max. value output on a line 42 with a time lapsed. The outputs of AND gates 48, 49 and the output of a level discriminator circuit 45 are inputted to a processor circuit 56, and if an earthquake is identified, a drive circuit 57 closes a stop valve 58 to ensure the safety.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a sure diagnosis by a simple operation by applying oscillation output, and inverted output to a pair of counter electrodes of a sensor element via a switching means. SOLUTION: An oscillation circuit 41 oscillates a frequency that is approximated to the center frequency component of an earthquake wave and applies it to one counter electrode 24 of a sensor element 16 through an analog switch 43. Also, after the phase of the oscillation output is inverted by 180 degrees by an inversion circuit 42, the output is fed to the other counter electrode 25 via an analog switch 44. But, in the case of an operation mode, the switches 43 and 44 are broken by breaking test terminals 19 and 21. On the other hand, the terminals 19 and 21 are connected at the time of self-diagnosis. Then, a timer 57 leads an H-level signal to a line 71 for a specific amount of time W1 after connection and enables the switches 43 and 44 to continue. Therefore, oscillation output and inverted output are fed from the circuit 41 to electrodes 44 and 45, thus a pendulum 23 can be surely deformed to making a sure diagnosis, and at the same time this procedure can be automated.

CONSTITUTION: An acceleration sensor S1 having a pendulum for which conductive single crystal silicon is used, for instance, is used. An output of the acceleration sensor S1 is passed through a low-pass filter 72 of which the cutoff frequency is about 10Hz and an absolute value is obtained in an absolute value circuit 73 by adding upper and lower waveforms to the output. An absolute value signal thus obtained is subjected to level discrimination by an acceleration level discriminating means 74, an output thereof is integrated by an integrating means 91 and an integration output is subjected to level discrimination by an integration level discriminating means 94. An output obtained when the integration output is at an integration discrimination level or above and the output of the acceleration sensor is at an acceleration discrimination level or above is given to an exclusive OR gate 97 at each time set beforehand by a timer and an output value of the gate is counted by a counter 98.
