    • PURPOSE:To contrive easier service and inspection and a lower manufacturing cost, by a construction wherein a takeoff port for a refrigerant pipe extended from a compressor is provided at an upper part of a machine unit, and a piping space communicating with the takeoff port is provided at a lower part of a heat exchanging unit. CONSTITUTION:At the time of combining a machine unit 2 with a heat exchanging unit 3, mount holes 22 formed in mount pieces 21 of the unit 3 are engaged with bolts 6 provided at a top plate 7 of the unit 2, followed by fastening with nuts to assemble a heat exchanger 1. Then, a piping space 17 for the unit 3 is located on the upper side off a takeoff port 8 provided in the top plate 7 of the unit 2. The assembler reaches in the space 17 from the front side of the unit 3, and connects refrigerant pipes 9 led out through the takeoff port and refrigerant pipes 20 led from heat exchangers 14 to each other. When several kinds of the units 2 and 3 are prepared which are equal in depth A and lateral dimension B but in which compressors and heat exchangers differing in capacity are mounted, refrigerators having different capacities can be constructed by combinations of the units 2 and 3.

    • PURPOSE: To reduce the size of a heat exchanging unit while facilitating the coupling work of refrigerant pipes by providing a fixing plate on the outer wall of the unit and securing a service valve to be coupled with inter-unit piping and the delivery pipe of a compressor to the fixing plate while projecting. CONSTITUTION: A fixing plate 30 is reinforced by applying a U-shaped metal 38 to the inside and two straight pipes 39, 40 penetrating the fixing plate 30 are coupled, at the outer ends thereof, with a U-shaped pipe 41. One straight pipe 39 is coupled with a delivery pipe 43 and the other straight pipe 40 is coupled with the inlet pipe 44 of a condenser 11. The delivery pipe 43 starads from the upper surface of a compressor 42 and turned above the compressor 42. The delivery pipe 43 is imparted with restiliency in order to buffer vibration being transmitted from the compressor 42. Since the U-shaped pipe 41 projects from the fixing plate 30, the refrigerant pipe 47 from a defrost switch or a heat accumulator can be coupled by cutting the straight part 46 of the U-shaped pipe 41 and thereby the refrigerant pipe 47 can be extended to the outside of the unit collectively with inter-unit piping.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To gasify a refrigerant contained in stored oil by heating the oil in order to prevent the occurrence of such a failure as the occurrence of oil foaming in a compressor, the supercooling of the compressor due to the dissolved refrigerant, and so on, when the oil containing the refrigerant is supplied to the compressor. SOLUTION: A refrigerant gas introduced into an oil separator 1 through the blowing-off section 6 of an inlet pipe 5 first comes into collision with an upper lid 3 and changes it direction. Then the gas comes into collision with the wall surface of the main body 2 of the separator 2 or a baffle plate member 10 while descending in the main body 2, catches the oil in the gas, and drops onto and is stored in the internal bottom section of the separator 1 through the wall surface of the main body 2 and a baffle plate 12. The oil in the refrigerant is separated and the refrigerant is introduced to an outlet pipe 7 through a sucking section 8 by again changing its direction so as to roll in the baffle plate 12 and sent to the outside of the separator 1. Since the refrigerant gas is introduced into the separator 1 through the inlet pipe 5, the pipe 5 laid through a bottom lid 4 works to warm the oil stored in the separator 1.

A compressor coupler 12 connects the beam 10 of the frame to a compressor 3.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce use of couplings such as nails, an an adhesive or staples and reduce troubles and time required for unpacking and disposal by fixing pillars to four corners of an outer box and by fastening and fixing an outer periphery of the pillars, a base and the outer box assembled on the base. SOLUTION: Pillars 20 are inserted into support spaces 14 and fixed in tight contact with four corners of an outer box 6. Polypropylene bands 15, 16 for binding bind an outer periphery of the outer box 6 in a lateral direction with the outer box 6 mounted on a base 2, and bind from the outside of the base 2 and the outer box 6 in a longitudinal direction, thereby fastening and fixing the base 2 and the outer box 6. The polypropylene band 16 in the lateral direction keeps a box shape of the outer box 6 by suppressing force of the outer box 6 to expand. Further, the polypropylene band 15 in the longitudinal direction binds through a side face (a), a top face (e) and a side face (c) and a space 5 of the base 2. Thus a product is protected against a shock and vibration at the time of movement or transportation, and also unpacking can be easily done.
