    • PURPOSE:To prevent adhesion of salinity on an outside face of an upper casing by providing a cooling water passage leading cooling water to the vicinity of the inside face of the upper casing outside wall part in an exhaust pipe extending into the upper casing. CONSTITUTION:Cooling water cooling an engine 3 is discharged from a cooling water passage 3c in the vicinity of the exhaust passage to a cooling water passage 28 in an exhaust pipe 23, and then, is let flow into a water jacket 24 from the cooling water passage 28. In this process, the cooling water discharged from the cooling water passage 28 is sprinkled on a rear wall 2c, as the lower opening of the cooling water passage 28 is positioned in the vicinity of the rear wall 2c in an upper casing 2. Therefore, the exhaust pipe 23 is cooled down by the cooling water discharged from the cooling water passage 28, and the cooling water from the cooling water passage 28 is sprinkled on the upper casing 2 for cooling it down. Consequently, the upper casing 2 can be cooled down with the exhaust pipe 23 by means of the cooling water, and sea water adhering on the outside face of the upper casing 2 is swept away, so that no salinity remains on the outside face.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a lubricant from deteriorating by blocking the intrusion of water into an oil pump chamber from outside. SOLUTION: An oil pump 29, which can supply a lubricant 28 to an internal combustion engine 10, has the upper and lower through-holes 33 and 34 through which a drive shaft 21 passes. A lubricant pump device is provided with a pump case 30 having a pump chamber 31 inside the oil pump 29, a rotor 35 housed in the pump chamber 31 and rotating together with the drive shaft 21, and the upper and lower sealing bodies 36 and 37 attached to the inner peripheral faces of the through-holes 33 and 34, respectively. The sealing bodies 36 and 37 are protruded from the above inner peripheral faces toward the drive shaft 21, and their protrusion ends are press contacted on the outer peripheral face of the drive shaft 21 to form the seal lips 41 and 42. In this case, the seal lip 42 of the lower sealing body 37 is protruded slantwise downward from the inner peripheral face of the through-hole 34 toward the drive shaft 21.
