    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording apparatus capable of accurately recording information in a thermosensitive recording medium by restricting the development of skew. SOLUTION: When a rewritable medium 70 is conveyed to a recording unit 50, rotation and position in the Y-axial direction of the rewritable medium 70 are adjusted, and during the conveyance of the rewritable medium 70 to the recording unit 50, the rewritable medium 70 is held between guide pins 108A and 108B to such an extent as not to warp the rewritable medium 70 while the medium is sandwiched between a clamper 110 and a conveyance tray 103. With this structure, the rewritable medium 70 is delivered to the recording unit 50 with an adjusted posture relative to the recording unit 50, allowing the recording unit 50 to record information accurately in the rewritable medium 70 without the development of skew in the rewritable medium.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a card to rest on the normal position of a feed carriage without changing the dropping position of the card even if the rotating speed of a drive roller changes. SOLUTION: A card feeding mechanism 20 comprises a drive roller 21 and a driven roller 22, and flips a card 1 to place it on a card placement part 31a on a feed carriage 31. The drive roller 21 has a first shaft part 21a having the function of a feeder roller which makes contact with the card 1 to determine the reference speed for feeding the card 1 and second shaft parts 21b1 , 21b2 each having the function of an auxiliary roller which further flips the card 1 after the card 1 has separated from the first shaft part 21a, the first and second shaft parts 21a, 21b1 , 21b2 being designed to rotate integrally on the same axis. The first shaft part 21a is a columnar member having a smaller width than the card 1. The second shaft parts 21b1 , 21b2 are columnar members located at both ends of the shaft part 21a and each having an outer peripheral track greater than the outer peripheral surface of the first shaft part 21a, and are made of a flexible material.
