    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can effectively prevent contamination of a recording medium and disturbance of a formed image by suppressing dew condensation occurring at heat receiving part of a cooling device.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises a fixing device 4 which fixes a toner image formed on a recording medium to the recording medium by heating it and a cooling device 5 which cools the recording medium after passing through the fixing device 4. The cooling device 5 comprises a heat receiving part 22 which receives heat and a heat radiating part 23 which radiates heat. Cooling liquid circulates in the heat receiving part 22 and the heat radiating part 23 to cool the recording medium. The heat receiving part 22 is disposed below a recording medium discharge port 17b of the fixing device 4. A duct 33 having an external opening 32 which is open to the outside of an image forming apparatus body 100 is disposed in the apparatus body 100. An internal opening 34 of the duct 33 is opened at a position above a recording medium conveying part 35 between the heat receiving part 22 and the discharge port 17b.
