The photoreceptor driving unit 10 includes a row of photoreceptor drives such as a photoreceptor driving gear for driving the photoreceptor arranged between two side plates. In this embodiment, a row of developing drives for driving the developing unit is also arranged in the unit 10. Adjustment after assembling to the body is not necessary since the photoreceptor driving unit 10 has adjustment such as positional accuracy, angle accuracy or phase matching in the row of photoreceptor drives carried out in the unit state. In addition, the connection terminal 52 of the high voltage power source 51 and the bearing 71 serving as the power receiving portion of the power receiving roller 18 can be disposed on the opening side. Accordingly, if a connection terminal 52 or a bearing 71 has troubles of bending or the like, the checking of them or fixing of the troubles can speedily be performed.
