    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set an optical apparatus to a non-close contact type by reducing quantity- of-light irregularity and MTF irregularity, enhancing light utilizing efficiency, achieving miniaturization by the shortening of the focal point of an optical system and ensuring focal depth to enhance the tolerance degree of the alignment between the optical system and a light receiving surface. SOLUTION: A waveguide structure for guiding emitted light from a light emitting element array 2 to a light receiving surface 11 is realized by a waveguide structure 3 forming the light guide passage 4 optically cutting off the respective light emitting elements 1 of a light emitting element array 2 and a lens 7 positioned at the emitting end part of the light guide passage 4 is realized. Since the waveguide structures become the relation of 1:1 with respect to the respective light emitting elements 1, light emitting irregularity and MTE irregularity are hardly generated. Since light is condensed by the lens 7, resolving power and light utilizing efficiency are excellent. Since the lens 7 is small, an optical system is shortened in focal distance and the whole is miniaturized and focal depth is ensured to enhance the tolerance degree of alignment between the lens 7 and the light receiving surface 11. Since the lens 7 and the light receiving surface 11 are not brought to a close contact state, the contamination of the lens 7 or the damage of the light receiving surface 11 is prevented.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent or reduce the generation of a line image not being in parallel with the advancing direction of a developer on a developing sleeve and the indented void of the end edge part of a solid image by specifying the center of the width of a magnetic pole in the peripheral direction of the develop ing sleeve and the direction of a magnetic field formed by the magnetic pole. SOLUTION: The center of the width of the magnetic pole (developing pole) P1 in the peripheral direction of the developing sleeve 4 is arranged to deviate to a part, nearer to the upstream side in the moving direction of the developer on the developing sleeve 4, than the nearest part (a place of a line l1 ) of the developing sleeve 4 to a latent image carrier consisting of a photoreceptor 1. The installation attitude of the magnetic pole P1 is set so that the magnetic field formed by the magnetic pole P1 is inclined toward a normal with respect to the periphery of the developing sleeve, passing through the center of the width of the magnetic pole P1 , that is, the best normal l2 , by an angle α in the advancing direction of the developer on the sleeve 4. By such a constitution, a line of magnetic force from the maximum magnetic force generating part, of the developing pole P1 is in the direction of a line l3 inclined by the angle α.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent an image from generating voids and having its ground stained by providing a developing bias switching means which increases and decreases a developing bias in addition to an image density adjusting means. CONSTITUTION:When a notch key 26 for image density adjustment on a console panel is operated, the set levels of the threshold values of all picture elements are increased or decreased to vary the density of a formed image. Further, when the white void prevention key 27 and ground staining prevention key 28 of a developing bias switching means are operated, the developing bias potential is increased or decreased to set the relation of the dark potential and light potential of an electrostatic latent image with the developing bias potential to the best condition. Therefore, the relation between the potential state of the electrostatic latent image formed on a photosensitive drum and the developing bias potential is adjusted to a proper state to prevent the formed image from generating voids and has its ground stained.
