An oblique line discrimination section 23 sets a window to image data read by a photoelectric converter 7 to discriminate whether or not an oblique line pattern is in existence in the window, and when a position error measurement section 24 discriminates it that the oblique pattern is in existence, the section 24 shifts the window in an angular direction of the oblique line to measure the position error of the picture element in the subscanning direction based on the position change of the oblique line.

By supplying the power to the primary coil 4 by the fixing energy supply part, making a current flow through the positive temp. coefficient thermistor of the fixing roller 1 as a secondary coil by electromagnetic induction so that the heating part may generate the heat by itself, the temperature necessary for fixation can be easily obtained and stabilized, then, the fixing device capable of easily controlling the temperature, attaining the rapid temp. rise and also attaining the energy saving can be obtained.

This user ID is decoded by a decoder part 803 and outputted through an image output part 805 after selectively executing a half tone processing and a simple binarizing processing at an image processing part 804. When corresponding data are erased from the management table, the image data stored in the storage part 806 are cleared.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve data compression rate by converting picture data into a specific color, performing a data compression processing after it or designating a dot area and performing the data compression processing after smoothing this dot area. CONSTITUTION:A first filter 2 performs a standard MTF correction (edge emphasis) to correct an image blur due to the reading system of a scanner. Then, a compression encoding/decoding part 5, an image area separation processing is performed. After the image area separation, a picture input is performed again by the scanner based on the result and the high frequency components of dots are eliminated by smoothing the mode of the first filter 2 in dot areas. In other areas, the standard MTF correction is performed. Thus, the picture data of the dot areas is efficiently compressed as dot parts are smoothed. A compression rate can be improved by performing a compression processing for picture data after converting the data into a specific color data.

CONSTITUTION:A picture is read every 8X8 picture element block in a block reading part 24, the picture is converted into a DCT factor value in a DCT conversion part 25, a quantization factor is determined via a quantization part 26 and is stored in a coding storage part 21 by a Houghman encoding part 29. A code is read in an encoding storage part 21 at the time of outputting a picture, a factor value after a quantization is alloted to the code in a Houghman decoding part 30, an inverse quantization is performed for the value in an inverse quantization part 31 and the outputted DCT factor is converted into picture data. By referring to the N block of an original end, the picture data is decided as texture when the DCT factor is close to white in M blocks continuously and an AC component is small. When the texture is detected, the parameter of a UCR part is set by a second gamma conversion according to the DCT factor.
