SOLUTION: A facility use state display device has a device issuing a reversible recording medium having information which can be updated and can not be discriminated with the naked eye and image information which can be discriminated with the naked eye to a facility user in the form of a prepaid card, respective reader writers which decode and rewrite the image information, an individual monitor means which is connected thereto, a checkout means which decodes the remaining value recorded on the prepaid card and pays out the cash corresponding to the remaining value, a host computer, and a communication network which connects the host computer and respective readers, and the individual monitor screen displays reference information which is useful for individual facility uses.

When the management data is out of a predetermined value, the color of the image information or the background color thereof is changed by a rewriting operation of the image information.

SOLUTION: The reversible recording medium has a reversible recording layer in which formation and erasure of the colored image can be carried out by applying heat and/or light energy and the colored image can be held without applying the energy and which has the forgery preventing function, consisting of the hue change material in which hue of the colored image is changed in accordance with the viewing angle.

In this case, another one kind of organic low molecular substance 2, employed by combining with the organic low molecular substance 2 dispersed with the solid state, lowers the melting heat peak temperature of the organic low molecular substance 2 dispersed with the solid state.

SOLUTION: A thermally reversible recording medium is formed such that it satisfies conditions in which an upper limit temperature of transparency is 125 deg.C or higher, the difference between the upper temperature of transparency and the lower limit temperature of white turbidity is at most 20 deg.C, and an starting temperature of transparency is 95 deg.C or lower. By making the upper limit temeprature of transparency 125 deg.C or higher, the temperature width of transparency can be extended without lowering its image durability. Also, by making a difference between the upper limit temperature of transparency and the lower limit temperature of white turbidity 20 deg.C or lower, the occurrence of flaws and lowering of white turbidity caused by a temperature rising beyond the necessity to be white turbid are prevented relative to the surface of a medium due to the interation of a recording the erasing operation. A starting temperature of transparency is made lower that 95 deg.C, thereby balancing the raise of an erasing property and the raise of image thermal resistivity.
